Dieses einfache, aber unglaublich leckere Pasta-Gericht ist ein echter Klassiker der römischen Küche. Die Kombination aus Spaghetti, Pecorino Romano, schwarzem Pfeffer und Olivenöl ist überraschend raffiniert und unglaublich befriedigend. Cacio e Pepe, was übersetzt "Käse und Pfeffer" bedeutet, ist in nur wenigen Minuten zubereitet und perfekt für einen schnellen Mittag- oder Abendessen.   • 1 pounds spaghetti
  • 6 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 1.75 cups grated Pecorino Romano cheese

Place 2 cloves of garlic into the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 7.

Sauté garlic and pepper

Add 6 tablespoons of olive oil and 2 teaspoons of ground black pepper to the mixing bowl. Sauté for 2 min./120°C/speed 1.

Cook the pasta

Cook 1 pound of spaghetti according to package directions in a separate pot. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.

Combine pasta and sauce

Add the cooked and drained spaghetti and 1 ¾ cups of grated Pecorino Romano cheese to the mixing bowl. Add ½ cup of the reserved pasta water. Mix for 1 min./60°C/speed 2. If needed, add more pasta water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until the sauce coats the spaghetti.
