Description

With this Thermomix® recipe, you can conjure up 10 fluffy burger buns in no time at all. The main ingredients are flour, milk, butter, yeast and egg. The preparation of the vegetarian baked goods takes a total of 165 minutes, of which 30 minutes are active working time. Ideal as finger food for parties, for breakfast or as a side dish for the main course. Perfect for anyone who loves homemade buns.

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 580 g Flour
  • 1 TL Salt
  • 1 EL Sugar
  • 300 ml Milk
  • 50 g Butter
  • 20 g Fresh yeast
  • 1 Stück Egg
  • 1 Stück Egg
  • 1 EL Milk
  • 3 EL Sesame

Preparation (8 steps)

Prepare flour mixture

Thermomix® Setting

Add 580 g flour, 1 tsp salt and 1 tbsp sugar to the mixing bowl and mix for 10 sec/speed 3. Transfer and set aside.

Heat milk and dissolve yeast

Add 300 ml milk and 50 g butter to the mixing bowl and heat for 3 min./37°C/speed 2. Add 20 g fresh yeast and stir for 20 sec/speed 3 until the yeast has dissolved.

Prepare dough

Add the flour mixture from step 1 and 1 egg to the yeast mixture in the mixing bowl and knead for 2 min/knead setting to form a smooth dough.

Dough rest

Remove the dough from the mixing bowl, place in a bowl, cover with a damp kitchen towel and let rest at room temperature for 1 hour.

Shape buns

Divide the dough on a lightly floured work surface into 10 equal portions (approx. 85 g). First, lightly flatten each portion, then fold over the edges, press firmly and then roll the balls with the flat of your hand on the work surface (shape the dough).

Second dough rest

Place the dough balls on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, cover with a damp kitchen towel and let rest for 20 minutes.

Prepare glaze

Mix 1 egg and 1 tbsp milk in a small bowl with a fork.

Brush and bake buns

Brush the rolls with the egg-milk mixture and sprinkle with 3 tbsp sesame. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees top and bottom heat for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
