Description

Homemade rolls are something special! With this recipe, you can easily make delicious wheat rolls that are perfect for breakfast or brunch. The preparation is very simple and the Thermomix® takes care of a large part of the work. The smell of freshly baked bread fills the whole house - simply wonderful! The rolls are crispy on the outside and nice and soft on the inside. They taste pure, with butter and jam or savory. An absolute must for every bread lover!

Ingredients (4 ingredients)

  • 0.5 cube Yeast
  • 1 Prise(n) Sugar
  • 500 g Wheat flour Type 550
  • 1 tsp Salt

Prepare yeast

Put 0.5 cube of yeast, 1 pinch of sugar and 300 ml of lukewarm water into the mixing bowl and stir for 2 min./37°C/speed 2.

Prepare dough

Thermomix® Setting

Add 500 g wheat flour type 550 and 1 tsp salt and process into a smooth dough for 3 min./kneading setting.

Let the dough rise

Transfer the dough to a bowl, cover and let rise in a warm place for 60 minutes until the volume has doubled.

Shape rolls

Preheat the oven to 230 °C convection. Knead the dough again briefly. Divide into 10 equal portions and form into oval rolls. Make a slight longitudinal incision with a knife.

Bake rolls

Place the rolls with some distance on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and sprinkle with some flour. Place an oven-safe container with water in the oven and bake the rolls for 20 minutes.
