Description

This tangy pineapple and lime preserve is a delightful twist on traditional marmalade.   • 1 piece fresh pineapple
  • 1.25 cups white sugar
  • 1 piece medium lime, zested and juiced
  • 2 tsp prepared horseradish

Peel, core, and cut the fresh pineapple into 1-inch chunks. Ensure you have approximately 5 cups of fruit. Place the pineapple chunks into the Thermomix mixing bowl.

Cook the mixture in the Thermomix until it reaches a marmalade consistency. Set the Thermomix to 50 Min./100°C/Stufe 2.

Stir in 2 teaspoons prepared horseradish into the marmalade in the Thermomix mixing bowl. Set the Thermomix to 1 Min./Stufe 1/Linkslauf.

Allow the marmalade to cool completely before storing it in a covered jar in the refrigerator. The marmalade will firm up as it chills.
