Description

Pistachio crescent cookies from the Thermomix® are delicious pastries with flour, margarine, almonds, and pistachios. This recipe for about 40 pieces is ideal for the Christmas season or as a sweet dessert. The preparation time is about 120 minutes, of which 30 minutes are active working time. Perfect for anyone who loves Christmas cookies and is looking for a delicious finger food.

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 300 g Flour
  • 200 g Margarine
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 1 Päckchen Vanilla sugar
  • 1 Prise Iodized salt
  • 1 Ei Egg
  • 50 g Almonds (ground)
  • 50 g Pistachios (ground or very finely chopped)
  • 50 g Pistachios (chopped)
  • 3 EL Powdered sugar

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare dough

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/Kneading speed

Put 300 g flour, 200 g margarine in flakes, 100 g sugar, 1 packet of vanilla sugar, 1 pinch of iodized salt, 1 egg, 50 g ground almonds and 50 g ground pistachios into the mixing bowl and knead for 2 min./kneading stage to form a smooth dough.

Cool dough

Remove the dough from the mixing bowl, wrap in cling film and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Preheat oven

Preheat the oven to 175 °C (convection oven: 155 °C). Line baking sheets with baking paper.

Shape and sprinkle crescent cookies

Form finger-thick rolls from the chilled dough, cut into approx. 5 cm long pieces and shape into crescent cookies. Place the crescent cookies on the prepared baking sheets and sprinkle with 50 g of chopped pistachios, pressing them down carefully.

Bake crescent cookies

Bake the vanilla crescent cookies in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes.

Sprinkle crescent cookies

Let the vanilla crescent cookies cool down a little and then sprinkle with 3 tablespoons of powdered sugar.
