Description

Small Christmas pastries with chocolate filling and meringue topping.

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 150 g Flour
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 100 g Margarine in a tub
  • 1 Stück Egg (size M)
  • 1 Stück Egg (size M)
  • 1 Prise Iodized salt
  • 20 Stück Chocolates
  • 1 TL Lemon juice

Preparation (5 steps)

Prepare dough

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/Kneading speed

Put 150 g flour, 50 g sugar, 1 pinch of iodized salt and 100 g margarine in the mixing bowl. Separate 1 egg. Add the egg yolk to the other ingredients in the mixing bowl, keep the egg white. Add 1 tbsp cold water and knead for 2 min./kneading stage to form a smooth dough.

Roll out and cut out dough

Roll out the dough on a floured work surface and cut out circles with a glass (ø approx. 6-7 cm). Place on baking sheets lined with baking paper. Place 20 pieces of chocolates in the middle of the dough circles.

Prepare meringue

3 min/Speed 3.5

Separate the second egg, the egg yolk is not needed. Put the two egg whites with 1 tsp lemon juice and 150 g sugar in the mixing bowl. Insert the butterfly and whisk until stiff for 3 min./speed 3.5.

Pipe on meringue

Fill the meringue into a piping bag with a plain nozzle or into a foil bag with a cut-off corner. Pipe onto the biscuit circles, leaving some space to the edge as in the photo, but the chocolates must be completely covered.

Baking

Bake fairy kisses in a preheated oven at 150 °C convection (170 °C top/bottom heat) for 15-20 minutes. Let cool on a wire rack and enjoy.
