Description

This crispy chicken in the devil style is a tasty and easy to prepare dish, perfect for a family meal or with friends. The crispy breadcrumbs and slightly spicy sauce make it an irresistible dish. I often make this dish when I want something quick and delicious. The sauce is really what makes all the difference, with its small spicy side that awakens the taste buds. Accompanied by homemade fries or a corn salad, it's a real treat! Feel free to adjust the amount of Tabasco according to your taste for spiciness.

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 1 g Chicken
  • 50 g Breadcrumbs
  • 1 tasse(s) Olive oil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 2 piece Shallot(s)
  • 1 verre(s) Dry white wine
  • 2 verre(s) Ketchup
  • 1 c. à café Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 gouttes Tabasco
  • 1 c. à soupe Olive oil

Preparation (7 steps)

Chicken preparation

Preheat the oven to 180°C (th.6). Ask your butcher to cut the chickens in half and flatten each half. Coat them with olive oil, salt and pepper.

Coating the chicken

Immediately cover the chicken pieces with 50g breadcrumbs and press well so that it adheres.

Oven cooking the chicken

Place the chicken on the oven rack with a baking sheet underneath. Let it cook for 25 minutes without basting. Turn off the oven and let it rest for another 5 minutes so that the chicken swells.

Shallot preparation

Put 2 shallots in the bowl and chop them for 5 Sek./Stufe 5.

Cooking the shallots

Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and sauté the chopped shallots for 3 Min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Sauce reduction

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/Varoma/Speed 2 Varoma

Add 1 glass of dry white wine and reduce by half for 5 Min./Varoma/Stufe 2.

Sauce finalization

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/194°F/Speed 1 90

Add 2 glasses of ketchup, 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce, 3 drops of Tabasco, salt and pepper. Mix for 2 Min./90°C/Stufe 1.
