Description

This creamy curry chicken is a comforting and flavorful dish, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner. I love the sweetness of the cream which balances the curry spices. This dish is ready in under 30 minutes, which is ideal when you are short on time. Serve with basmati rice for a complete and delicious meal. You can also add vegetables such as peppers or peas for more color and nutrients. A real treat for the whole family!

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 6 piece chicken breasts
  • 3 c. à c. curry powder
  • 20 cl liquid cream
  • 0.5 bouquet chopped parsley
  • to taste Oil
  • 1.5 piece yellow onion
  • to taste Salt or fine salt
  • to taste Pepper

Preparation of ingredients

Cut the onion in half and put it in the Thermomix bowl. Chop the onion for 3 Sek./Stufe 5. Scrape the sides of the bowl with the spatula.

Sauté the onion

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/248°F/Speed 1 120

Add the oil to the Thermomix bowl and sauté the onion for 3 Min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Cooking the chicken

Cut the chicken breasts into dice. Fry the chicken in a pan with a little oil over high heat for 5 minutes. Salt and pepper.

Adding spices and cream

Thermomix® Setting
10 min/194°F/Speed 1/Linkslauf 90 Reverse

Add the cooked chicken to the Thermomix bowl. Add the curry powder, liquid cream, salt and pepper. Mix gently for 10 Min./90°C/Stufe 1/Linkslauf.

Finalization and service

Off the heat, add the chopped parsley and mix gently with the spatula. Serve hot.
