Description

This rustic chicken stew is a comforting and flavorful dish, perfect for cold days. The combination of tender chicken with fresh vegetables and a touch of white wine creates a delicious and simple culinary experience. Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 6 piece Chicken thigh
  • 1 piece Red pepper
  • 1 piece Green pepper
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 2 piece Potato
  • 1 piece Tomato
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Pepper
  • 0.5 cup White wine

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare the potatoes

Peel 2 units of potatoes and cut them into thin slices. Reserve.

Season the chicken

Season 6 units of chicken thighs with 1 pinch of salt and 1 pinch of pepper. Reserve.

Chop the vegetables

Cut 1 unit of red pepper, 1 unit of green pepper, 1 unit of onion and 1 unit of tomato into medium pieces. Reserve.

Assemble the stew

In a baking dish, place a layer of potato slices. On top, place the chicken thighs. Cover with the peppers, tomato and onion.

Add the wine

Pour ½ cup of white wine over the stew, making sure that all the vegetables and chicken are well soaked.

Bake the stew

Bake in the preheated oven at 180°C for 90 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through. If it dries out too much, add more wine during cooking. Adjust the seasoning if necessary.
