Description

This San Sebastián cheesecake from the Thermomix® convinces with few ingredients: double cream cream cheese, cream, sugar, eggs and starch. The Spanish cheesecake is a festive dessert and belongs to the category of cakes. Preparation in the Thermomix® takes about 100 minutes and yields 12 servings. Ideal for cheesecake lovers and special occasions.

Ingredients (5 ingredients)

  • 875 g Double cream cream cheese
  • 400 g Cream
  • 225 g Sugar
  • 6 Stück Eggs
  • 40 g Starch

Preparation (4 steps)

Preheat oven and prepare springform pan

Preheat oven to 230°C top/bottom heat. Line the bottom and edge of the springform pan (Ø 26 cm) with baking paper.

Mix ingredients

Insert the mixing attachment into the mixing bowl. Add cream cheese, cream, sugar, eggs and starch and stir for 20 sec./level 3.

Bake cake

Pour the mixture into the prepared springform pan and bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes. Observe the surface in the last 10 minutes. It should become very dark, but not black.

Let cake cool

Remove the cake from the oven, the middle should still “jiggle”. Let cool on a wire rack in the pan for a good 1-2 hours. Then remove from the springform pan. Either serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator for a few hours, preferably overnight.
