Description

This pasta dish with squid and shrimp is a real treat! The combination of tender seafood, an aromatic tomato sauce and a touch of chili makes this pasta an unforgettable experience. I especially like to cook this recipe in the summer when fresh ingredients are in season. The preparation is very simple and can be done in no time with the Thermomix®.   • Shrimp
  • White wine
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • Hot red pepper
  • Parsley

A clove of garlic and a small piece of hot red pepper in the bowl. 3 Sec./speed 7 chop. Add the extra virgin olive oil and 3 Min./120°C/speed 1 sauté.

Add the cleaned and ringed squid to the bowl and 5 Min./120°C/speed 1 brown.

Deglaze with white wine

Thermomix® Setting

Deglaze with a glass of white wine and 3 Min./Varoma/speed 1 without measuring cup let the alcohol evaporate.

Add the passata of tomato

35 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Add the passata of tomato and a glass of hot water. 35 Min./100°C/speed 1 cook. If necessary, add more hot water during cooking.

Add the shrimp

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Add the cleaned shrimp to the bowl and 5 Min./100°C/speed 1 cook. Adjust with salt.

Mix the pasta

1 min/Speed 1 Reverse

Cook the pasta in boiling salted water. Drain the pasta and pour it into the bowl with the sauce. Add the chopped fresh parsley and 1 Min./speed 1 mix.

Plate and serve the pasta with squid and shrimp piping hot.
