Description

This dish is a tribute to classic Italian cuisine, reinterpreted with the Thermomix®. Juicy chicken thighs, braised in an aromatic tomato sauce with peppers and a hint of white wine – a feast for the senses! The preparation is very simple and almost automatic in the Thermomix®. Perfect for a cozy family meal or a relaxing evening with friends. The aromas unfold wonderfully and make this dish an unforgettable taste experience. A true classic that always brings joy!

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 8 piece chicken thighs
  • 400 g peeled tomatoes
  • 1 piece yellow bell peppers
  • 100 ml white wine
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 rametti rosemary
  • 40 ml extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 q.b. fine salt

Preparation (9 steps)

Prepare vegetables

Wash, core and coarsely chop the bell peppers. Prepare the peeled garlic clove and rosemary sprigs.

Chop garlic and rosemary

Thermomix® Setting
3 sec/Speed 7

Place the garlic clove and rosemary sprigs in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 7. Scrape down with the spatula.

Sauté vegetables

3 min/248°F/Speed 1 120

Add 40 ml of extra virgin olive oil to the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 min./120°C/speed 1.

Add bell pepper

Thermomix® Setting
5 sec/Speed 4

Add the bell pepper pieces to the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec./speed 4. Scrape down with the spatula.

Add tomatoes and wine

Add the peeled tomatoes (400 g) and white wine (100 ml) to the mixing bowl.

Let simmer

Thermomix® Setting
20 min/212°F/Speed 1/Linkslauf 100 Reverse

Add salt to taste and simmer for 20 min./100°C/speed 1/reverse.

Brown the chicken

While the sauce is simmering, brown the chicken thighs (8 pieces) in a separate pan with extra virgin olive oil until golden brown. Season with salt.

Add chicken and finish cooking

10 min/212°F/Speed 1/Linkslauf 100 Reverse

Add the browned chicken thighs to the sauce in the mixing bowl and cook for another 10 min./100°C/speed 1/reverse.

Arrange the chicken thighs with the sauce and serve.
