Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 1 tsp vegetable oil
  • 175 g beef
  • 1 piece red pepper
  • 2 clove garlic cloves
  • 2 cm fresh root ginger
  • 1 tbsp sesame seed
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 piece Baby Gem lettuces
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Garlic and Ginger Preparation

Place 2 garlic cloves and a 2cm piece of fresh root ginger into the mixing bowl and chop for 3 Sec./Stufe 7.

Sauté Garlic and Ginger

3 min/248°F/Speed 1 120

Add 1 tsp vegetable oil to the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 Min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Prepare Beef and Pepper

Heat oil in a large frying pan. When the pan is really hot, tip in the 175g beef and 1 red pepper, then cook for a few mins until lightly browned and the beef is cooked through. Tip the beef and pepper into a bowl and set aside.

Combine and Simmer

Add the cooked beef and pepper, 1 tbsp sesame seeds, 2 tbsp soy sauce, and 2 tbsp water to the mixing bowl. Cook for 2 Min./100°C/Stufe 2.

Final Touch

10 sec/Speed 1

Drizzle 1 tsp sesame oil over the beef mixture and stir for 10 Sec./Stufe 1.

Assemble and Serve

Separate the leaves from the 2 Baby Gem lettuces and arrange on a plate. Spoon a little of the beef mixture into each leaf, drizzle with pan juices and serve warm.
