Description

This recipe for caramelized chicken strips in soy sauce is a real all-rounder! I like to make it when things need to be quick and you still want something special on the table. The chicken strips are caramelized in a delicious soy sauce, giving them a wonderfully sweet and salty taste. It goes particularly well with rice, but also tastes delicious with pasta or simply with a fresh salad. Thanks to the preparation in the Thermomix®, the dish is super easy and quick to prepare. An absolute favorite recipe that is always well received by young and old!

Ingredients (5 ingredients)

  • 4 piece Chicken breast fillet
  • 2 piece Onions
  • Soy sauce
  • Sugar
  • Salt

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare chicken

Cut 4 chicken breast fillets into rough strips and set aside.

Prepare onions

Cut 2 onions into coarse slices and set aside.

Sauté onions

Thermomix® Setting
3 sec/Speed 5

Put the onion slices into the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5. Then fry the chopped onions in a pan with a little oil until golden brown and remove from the pan.

Fry chicken

Fry the chicken strips in the same pan with soy sauce and salt. Make sure to absorb all the roasting juices from the onions to intensify the taste.

Caramelize

Sprinkle the chicken strips with a little sugar and let them caramelize.

Complete

Add the fried onions to the caramelized chicken strips and mix briefly.
