Description
This simple tomato sauce is a versatile recipe for the Thermomix®. With fresh tomatoes, carrots, celery and aromatic herbs, it is quick to prepare and ideal as a base for pasta dishes. The sauce is vegetarian, vegan and can be cooked well in advance. Perfect for a quick lunch or dinner.

500 g Tomatoes, halved

30 g Tomato paste

1 Stück Carrot (50 g), in pieces

1 Stange Celery stalk with green

1 Stück Onion (60 g)

1 Stück Garlic clove

1 TL Sugar

50 g Olive oil (cold pressed)

1 TL Sea salt

0.5 TL Pepper

3 Stück Basil leaves

2 Stück Sage leaves

Tabasco sauce
Preparation (3 steps)
Chop vegetables
Put 500 g tomatoes (halved), 30 g tomato paste, 1 carrot (50 g, in pieces), 1 stalk of celery with green, 1 onion (60 g) and 1 clove of garlic in the mixing bowl and chop for 10 sec./level 5.
Cook sauce
Add 1 tsp sugar, 50 g olive oil (cold pressed), 1 tsp sea salt, 1/2 tsp pepper, 3 basil leaves, 2 sage leaves and a few drops of Tabasco sauce and cook for 10 min./100°C/level 1.
Puree sauce
Puree the sauce for approx. 30 sec./level 6.
