Description

This almond cake from the Thermomix® is a juicy cake with almonds, butter, sugar and eggs. It belongs to the cake category and is ideal as a dessert or Sunday cake.   • 1 Pck. Vanilla sugar
  • 3 piece Eggs
  • 200 g Flour
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Grind almonds

Add almonds to the mixing bowl and grind for 15 sec/level 10. Transfer and set aside.

Mix butter, sugar and vanilla sugar

Add butter, sugar and vanilla sugar to the mixing bowl and mix for 3 min/level 4.

Add eggs

Add eggs individually and stir in for 20 sec/level 3 each.

Mix flour and baking powder

Mix flour and baking powder in a separate bowl.

Stir in flour mixture and almonds

Thermomix® Setting

Add flour mixture and ground almonds to the mixing bowl and stir in for 30 sec/level 3.

Bake dough

Pour the dough into a greased and floured springform pan (26 cm diameter) and bake in a preheated oven at 175 °C (top/bottom heat) for approx. 35 minutes.

Let cake cool

Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan.

Dust with powdered sugar

Dust the cooled cake with powdered sugar.
