Description

These crispy potato pancakes are a simple and comforting delight, perfect for a quick lunch or a tasty side dish. I often make them when I have potatoes to use, and they always disappear in the blink of an eye! The crispy texture on the outside and soft on the inside is irresistible. They are ideal with a fresh green salad or a warm vegetable soup. For a more gourmet version, you can add a little grated cheese to the dough. A real pleasure to share with family or friends, and so easy to prepare with the Thermomix®!

Ingredients (5 ingredients)

  • 5 piece Potatoes
  • 2 tasse(s) Flour
  • 3 Œuf(s) Eggs
  • 1 pincée(s) Salt
  • 1 l Sunflower oil

Potato preparation

Peel and wash 5 potatoes. Cut them into pieces and put them in the Thermomix bowl. Grate the potatoes for 5 Sek./Stufe 5.

Mixing the dough

Add 2 cups of flour, 3 eggs and 1 pinch of salt in the Thermomix bowl. Mix everything for 20 Sek./Stufe 4.

Cooking the pancakes

Heat sunflower oil in a pan. Take a tablespoon of dough and pour it into the hot oil. Let each side brown for about 3 minutes. Repeat the operation until the dough is used up.

Draining and serving

Put absorbent paper in a plate and arrange the pancakes on it to remove excess oil. Serve hot with a vegetable soup or a green salad.
