Description

This cold chocolate log is a delicious and refreshing dessert, perfect for hot summer days or to end a dinner in style. The combination of dark chocolate with fresh cream and condensed milk creates a creamy texture and an intense flavor. I often prepare it for my children's birthday, always with great success! The chopped hazelnuts and bitter cocoa add a crunchy touch and an irresistible aroma. It is prepared in a short time with the Thermomix® and stored in the freezer to be enjoyed when desired. A real guilty pleasure!

Ingredients (6 ingredients)

  • 150 g dark chocolate
  • 500 ml fresh cream
  • 300 g condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • chopped hazelnuts
  • bitter cocoa

Preparation (6 steps)

Dark chocolate chop

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 8

Insert the dark chocolate into the bowl and chop for 10 Sec./Stufe 8. Transfer to a bowl and set aside.

Cream whip

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/Speed 3.5

Insert the fresh cream into the bowl and whip with the butterfly for 2 Min./Stufe 3.5, until it is stiff.

Condensed milk and vanilla add

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 3

Add the condensed milk and vanilla extract to the bowl. Mix for 20 Sek./Stufe 3.

Chocolate incorporate

Thermomix® Setting
30 sec/Linkslauf Speed 2 Reverse

Add the chopped chocolate previously set aside and mix gently for 30 Sek./Linkslauf Stufe 2, using the spatula.

Log shape and freeze

Pour the mixture into a log mold lined with plastic wrap. Level the surface well and sprinkle with chopped hazelnuts. Cover with film and freeze for at least 6 hours.

Log serve

Before serving, unmold the log, sprinkle with bitter cocoa and cut into slices.
