This poultry dish with lemon and capers is a simple and quick delight to prepare with the Thermomix®. Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 250 g Chicken fillet
  • 1 pincée(s) Salt
  • 1 pincée(s) Pepper
  • 2 c. à café Olive oil
  • 1 gousse(s) Crushed garlic
  • 1 c. à café Butter
  • 1 c. à soupe Dry white wine
  • 1 c. à soupe Caper(s)
  • 2 c. à café Lemon juice

Preparation (7 steps)

Seasoned chicken

Sprinkle the chicken fillet with salt and pepper. Set aside.

Garlic infused in oil

Thermomix® Setting
30 sec/140°F/Speed 1 60

Put the olive oil and crushed garlic in the Thermomix bowl. Heat for 30 seconds at 60°C, speed 1.

Cooking the chicken

Heat a frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the chicken fillet and cook for about 3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Turn the chicken regularly for even cooking.

Keeping the chicken warm

Remove the chicken from the pan and keep warm. You can cover it with aluminum foil to retain its heat.

Preparing the sauce

1 min 30 sec/176°F/Speed 2 80

Put the dry white wine, capers and lemon juice in the Thermomix bowl. Heat for 1 minute 30 seconds at 80°C, speed 2.

Finalizing the sauce

Thermomix® Setting
30 sec/122°F/Speed 3 50

Add the butter to the Thermomix bowl and mix for 30 seconds at 50°C, speed 3, until melted and the sauce is smooth.

Service

Cut the chicken fillet diagonally. Arrange the slices on a preheated dish and coat them with the lemon and caper sauce. Serve immediately.
