Description

This recipe for salmon in teriyaki glaze is a quick and easy main course that is ready in about 25 minutes. The salmon fillet is glazed and seared in a homemade teriyaki sauce. Ideal for a quick weeknight dinner or as a protein-rich meal. The recipe is designed for 4 servings.

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 500 g Salmon fillet
  • 2 EL Flour
  • 2 EL Rapeseed oil
  • 5 EL Soy sauce
  • 2 EL Sugar
  • 3 EL Rice vinegar
  • 2 EL Mirin
  • 2 EL Dry white wine
  • 2 EL Apple juice
  • 1 EL Sesame oil
  • 1 TL Cornstarch

Preparation (5 steps)

Prepare teriyaki sauce

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 3

Add soy sauce, sugar, rice vinegar, mirin (or alternatively dry white wine or apple juice) and sesame oil to the mixing bowl and mix for 10 sec/speed 3.

Add cornstarch

Thermomix® Setting
5 sec/Speed 3

Mix cornstarch with 2 teaspoons of water and add to the mixing bowl. Mix for 5 sec/speed 3.

Prepare salmon

Salt the salmon fillets and dust with flour. Perform this step outside of the Thermomix®.

Fry salmon

Heat oil in a pan and fry the salmon for 2-3 minutes per side. Perform this step outside of the Thermomix®.

Reduce sauce

Add the prepared sauce from the mixing bowl to the salmon in the pan and simmer, stirring, over medium heat for 2-4 minutes until the sauce thickens and shines. Meanwhile, turn the salmon fillets in the sauce. Perform this step outside of the Thermomix®.
