Description
This stewed plums from the Thermomix® is a vegan and vegetarian dessert with plums, sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice. Prepared in just 20 minutes, the recipe provides 4 servings of fruity pleasure. Ideal as a compote, side dish or quick dessert in autumn. Perfect for lovers of light, sweet cuisine.

600 g Plums

2 EL Sugar

0.5 TL Cinnamon, ground

2 Spritzer Lemon juice
Preparation (5 steps)
Prepare plums
Wash 600g of plums, pat dry, halve and pit.
Caramelize sugar
Put 2 tbsp of sugar in the mixing bowl and caramelize for 5 min./120°C/speed 2. Occasionally push down with the spatula.
Sauté plums
Add the plum halves to the mixing bowl and sauté for 5 min./120°C/reverse/gentle stir setting until juice forms.
Add cinnamon and simmer
Add ½ tsp cinnamon and simmer with the lid on for 5-10 min./100°C/reverse/gentle stir setting until the plums are soft. Occasionally push down with the spatula.
Season
Add 2 splashes of lemon juice and stir briefly. /none/gentle stir setting/10 sec.
