Description

This soft banana chocolate cake is a comforting delight, perfect for a gourmet snack or an easy-to-prepare dessert. Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 2 piece Banana
  • 200 g Flour
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 packet Sachet of baking powder
  • 150 g Powdered sugar
  • 125 g Butter
  • 2 piece Egg(s)
  • 2 c. à soupe Fresh cream (thick)
  • 1 c. à café Vanilla powder
  • 50 g Chocolate chip(s)

Preparation (5 steps)

Prepare bananas and melt butter

Prepare 2 Bananas cut into slices (reserve 4 slices for decoration) and 125 g Butter in a bowl. Melt the butter in the microwave or in a water bath.

Mix ingredients

Put 2 Eggs, the banana slices (without the 4 reserved), 1 tsp Vanilla powder and 150 g Powdered sugar in the mixing bowl and mix for 20 Sec./level 5.

Add more ingredients

30 sec/Speed 4, 10 sec/Linkslauf Speed 2 Reverse

Add the melted 125 g Butter, 2 tbsp Fresh cream (thick), 200 g Flour, 1 sachet Sachet of baking powder and 1 pinch Salt to the mixing bowl and mix for 30 Sec./level 4 until a smooth mixture is obtained. Add 50 g Chocolate chip(s) and stir in for 10 Sec./Reverse direction level 2.

Bake dough

Pour the dough into a cake pan and top with the 4 reserved banana slices. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 15 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 160°C and bake for another 45 minutes.

Let cool

Remove the cake from the oven, turn it out onto a wire rack and let it cool.
