Description

This Thermomix® recipe for potato tray pizza with arugula combines potatoes, cherry tomatoes, salami, and arugula into a hearty main course. Preparation in the Thermomix® takes about 75 minutes, including 25 minutes of active work time, and yields 4 servings. Ideal as a family meal or finger food for guests. The Mediterranean pizza is an inexpensive and warming meal from the oven.

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 500 g small potatoes - new potatoes
  • 100 g Cherry tomatoes
  • 2 Scheiben Salami
  • 50 g Arugula
  • 1 EL Olive oil
  • 100 g Sour cream
  • 50 g Grated mozzarella
  • nach Geschmack Salt
  • nach Geschmack Pepper
  • 700 g Water

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare potatoes

Thermomix® Setting
20 min/Varoma/Speed 1 Varoma

Place 500 g small potatoes (new potatoes) in the simmering basket. Pour 700 g water into the mixing bowl, insert the simmering basket, and cook for 20 min./Varoma/speed 1. Remove the simmering basket and let the potatoes cool.

Prepare tomatoes and salami

Halve 100 g cherry tomatoes. Cut 2 slices of salami into small pieces. Wash 50 g arugula and spin dry.

Flatten potatoes

Place the cooled new potatoes on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and flatten them with the bottom of a glass. Use your hands to shape the crushed potatoes into a pizza base.

Season and bake potato base

Season the potato base with salt and pepper and drizzle with 1 tbsp olive oil. Bake the potato base in a preheated oven at 200 degrees top and bottom heat for 30 minutes.

Top pizza and finish baking

Spread 100 g sour cream on the pre-baked potato base and top with the halved tomatoes, the chopped salami and 50 g grated mozzarella. Bake the pizza in the oven for another 10 minutes.

Garnish pizza

Garnish the finished potato pizza with 50 g arugula and serve.
