Description

This sesame walnut banana loaf is a delightful twist on classic banana bread.   • 0.5 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp ground cinnamon (Optional)
  • 0.25 tsp ground nutmeg (Optional)
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 1 piece large banana, mashed
  • 0.25 cup white sugar
  • 0.25 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 piece egg white
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.33333333333333 cup black sesame seeds
  • 0.33333333333333 cup chopped walnuts

Preparation (5 steps)

Prepare the oven and loaf pan

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a loaf pan and set aside.

Combine dry ingredients

Add ¾ cup all-purpose flour, ½ teaspoon baking soda, ½ teaspoon baking powder, ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional), ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg (optional), and ¼ teaspoon salt to the mixing bowl. Mix for 10 Sec./Stufe 4 to combine.

Combine wet ingredients

Add 1 large mashed banana, ¼ cup white sugar, ¼ cup packed brown sugar, 1 egg white, 2 tablespoons milk, 1 tablespoon canola oil, and ½ teaspoon vanilla extract to the mixing bowl. Mix for 20 Sec./Stufe 3 to combine.

Incorporate sesame seeds and walnuts

10 sec/Linkslauf Speed 2 Reverse

Add ⅓ cup black sesame seeds and ⅓ cup chopped walnuts to the mixing bowl. Mix for 10 Sec./Linkslauf Stufe 2 to fold in the ingredients.

Bake the banana loaf

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, 35 to 40 minutes. Cool in pan before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
