Description

This simple and quick spaghetti dish with garlic and chili is perfect for student cooking or a quick lunch. The spicy sauce is prepared in the Thermomix® and refined with fresh herbs and hard cheese. In just 25 minutes, a delicious vegetarian dish is on the table. Ideal for those who like it spicy and hearty.

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 500 g Spaghetti
  • 1 Tomato(es)
  • 5 Clove(s) of garlic
  • 2 Chili pepper
  • 5 EL Parsley
  • 2 TL Vegetable broth powder
  • 100 ml Olive oil
  • 40 g Hard cheese
  • 1 TL Basil
  • 1 TL Oregano
  • 0.5 TL Salt

Preparation (6 steps)

Chop hard cheese

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 8

Put 40 g of hard cheese in pieces into the mixing bowl and chop for 10 sec./speed 8. Transfer and set aside.

Chop garlic and chili peppers

Thermomix® Setting
3 sec/Speed 7

Put 5 cloves of garlic and 2 chili peppers into the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 7. Scrape down from the edge with the spatula.

Add tomatoes, herbs and spices

Thermomix® Setting
5 sec/Speed 4

Put 1 tomato in cubes, 5 tbsp parsley, 1 tsp basil, 1 tsp oregano and 2 tsp vegetable broth powder into the mixing bowl and mix for 5 sec./speed 4.

Prepare spice mixture

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 3

Put 100 ml pasta water (from cooking the pasta) into the mixing bowl and stir for 10 sec./speed 3. Let it steep for 2 minutes.

Toss and mix spaghetti

Drain the cooked spaghetti well and place in a bowl. Pour the spice mixture from the mixing bowl over the spaghetti and mix well. Then add the chopped hard cheese and mix again.

Refine with olive oil

Before serving, pour 100 ml of olive oil over the spaghetti and mix. Sprinkle with additional hard cheese if needed.
