Description

This chocolate and dulce de leche tart is a decadent dessert that always triumphs. The shortcrust pastry base, combined with the creamy dulce de leche and the rich chocolate ganache, creates an explosion of flavors in every bite. It is perfect for special celebrations or simply to treat yourself. The recipe is simple, although it requires a little patience to cool the dough and prepare the ganache. Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 1 piece egg
  • 300 gramos self-raising flour
  • 150 gramos butter
  • 60 gramos sugar
  • 100 gramos semi-bitter chocolate
  • 50 centímetros cúbicos cream
  • 400 gramos confectioner's dulce de leche

Cream the butter and sugar

Thermomix® Setting

Make sure the butter is soft, at room temperature. Place 150 grams of butter and 60 grams of sugar in the Thermomix bowl. Mix 30 seconds/Stufe 3.

Incorporate the egg

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 3

Add 1 egg at room temperature to the Thermomix bowl. Mix 20 seconds/Stufe 3 until well emulsified.

Add the flour

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 4

Add 300 grams of sifted self-raising flour to the Thermomix bowl. Mix 20 seconds/Stufe 4. Do not over-knead.

Cool the dough

Remove the dough from the bowl, wrap it in cling film and flatten it slightly. Refrigerate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Bake the tart base

Preheat the oven to 160 ºC. Roll out the dough and cover a 20 cm removable mold that has been previously greased. Prick the dough with a fork. Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly golden.

Fill with dulce de leche

Remove the base from the oven and let it cool completely. Unmold and fill with 400 grams of confectioner's dulce de leche.

Prepare the chocolate ganache

3 min/194°F/Speed 1, 20 sec/Speed 3 90

Place 50 cubic centimeters of cream in the Thermomix bowl. Heat 3 minutes/90°C/Stufe 1. Add 100 grams of chopped semi-bitter chocolate and let it sit for 1 minute. Mix 20 seconds/Stufe 3 until you get a smooth ganache.

Cover with the ganache

Pour the chocolate ganache over the dulce de leche and spread evenly.

Decorate and chill

Decorate the tart with dulce de leche flakes or grated chocolate. Refrigerate until the ganache is firm.
