Description

This hearty fried potato pan with sausages is a savory dish for every day. The potatoes are fried until golden brown and combined with crunchy leek, peas and juicy sausages. A dollop of sour cream with mustard provides the perfect seasoning. I love how quick and easy this dish is to prepare and how well the whole family likes it. It is especially delicious with fresh radishes and cress.

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 750 g Potatoes
  • 6 piece small Nuremberg Rostbratwurst sausages (à approx. 35 g)
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 150 g Sour cream
  • 1 tsp medium-hot mustard
  • to taste black pepper
  • 400 g Leek
  • 150 g Frozen peas
  • to taste Salt
  • 0.5 bunch Radishes
  • 0.5 Beet Cress

Preparation (9 steps)

Prepare potatoes

Peel, wash and cut 750 g potatoes into bite-sized pieces. Set aside the prepared potato pieces.

Prepare leek

Clean, wash and cut 400 g leek into fine rings. Set aside the leek rings.

Prepare sour cream-mustard cream

In a bowl, mix 150 g sour cream, 1-2 tsp medium-hot mustard, salt and black pepper to taste. Set aside the sour cream-mustard cream.

Fry sausages

Halve 6 small Nuremberg Rostbratwurst sausages (à approx. 35 g). Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan and fry the halved sausages for approx. 5-6 minutes until golden brown. Remove the fried sausages from the pan and set aside.

Sauté potatoes

Thermomix® Setting

Put the cut potatoes into the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec./level 4. Then push the potatoes down with the spatula.

Cook potatoes

15 min/248°F/Speed 1 120

Add the chopped potatoes with 2 tbsp oil, salt and pepper to the mixing bowl and cook for 15 min./120°C/level 1. Use the spatula to distribute the potatoes evenly.

Add leek

Add the leek rings to the potatoes in the mixing bowl and cook for another 8 min./120°C/level 1. Season with salt and pepper.

Add 150 g frozen peas to the mixing bowl and stir in for 2 min./100°C/reverse rotation level 1.

Add the fried sausages to the potatoes and peas in the mixing bowl and heat for 1 min./80°C/reverse rotation level 1. Then spread the pan onto plates and sprinkle with quartered radishes and cress. Add the sour cream and serve.
