Description

These heart-shaped marzipan nougat cookies from the Thermomix® are the perfect finger food for the Christmas season. The main ingredients are marzipan raw material, nougat mass, butter, sugar and flour. The preparation takes a total of 210 minutes, with the active working time being around 60 minutes. The recipe yields approximately 40 cookies. Ideal as a festive dessert or for coffee and cake in winter.

  • 2 Stück Eggs
  • 275 g Wheat flour Type 405
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 1 Pck. Vanilla sugar
  • 175 g Butter
  • 400 g Marzipan raw material
  • 250 g Nougat mass

Preparation (10 steps)

Prepare dough

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/Kneading speed

Separate 2 eggs. Add 275 g wheat flour type 405 to the mixing bowl. Add 150 g sugar, 1 packet of vanilla sugar and the 2 egg yolks. Add 175 g cold butter in small pieces and process into a smooth dough for 2 min./kneading stage.

Chill dough

Form the dough into a ball, wrap in cling film and leave to rest in the fridge for 120 minutes.

Preheat oven

Preheat the oven to 180 °C top/bottom heat. Line a baking tray with baking paper.

Cut out cookies

Dust the work surface with flour. Roll out the dough thinly and cut out cookies with a heart-shaped cutter. Place the cookies on the prepared baking tray.

Prepare marzipan mixture

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 4

Place 400 g of marzipan raw material and the 2 egg whites in the mixing bowl and mix for 20 sec./speed 4. Gradually add enough cold water until a smooth mass is formed. Fill the mixture into a piping bag.

Pipe on marzipan border

Use the piping bag to pipe a border of marzipan mixture onto the cookies.

Bake cookies

Bake the cookies for approx. 10 minutes in the lower third of the preheated oven.

Melt nougat

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/122°F/Speed 2 50

Place 250 g of nougat mass in pieces in the mixing bowl and melt for 3 min./50°C/speed 2.

Spread nougat

Pour the melted nougat mass into the center of the cooled cookies.

Let nougat set

Allow the cookies to set completely before eating (in the refrigerator if necessary).
