Description

These butter biscuits are a classic that never fails. The recipe is very simple and quick to prepare, ideal for an afternoon of baking with the family or to have a sweet treat ready in no time. With just three main ingredients – flour, butter and sugar – you get crispy and delicious biscuits. I make them often and they are always a success, especially if we accompany them with a good coffee or hot chocolate. They can be personalized with a little cinnamon or lemon zest to give them a special touch. Go ahead and try them, you will love them!

Ingredients (3 ingredients)

  • 300 g flour
  • 200 g butter at room temperature
  • 100 g sugar

Preheat the oven

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Mix the ingredients

Place 300 g of flour, 200 g of butter at room temperature and 100 g of sugar in the Thermomix bowl. Mix for 20 seconds at speed 4.

Knead the dough

Knead the mixture for 1 minute in the Thermomix kneading function.

Form the biscuits

Remove the dough from the Thermomix and form balls of similar size. Place them on baking paper on the oven tray and flatten them with a fork to make the grooves.

Bake the biscuits

Bake for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Cool and serve

Let the biscuits cool on a wire rack. Optionally, they can be sprinkled with sugar or sugar-cinnamon before cooling. Serve and enjoy.
