Description

This recipe for creamy mushrooms in cream sauce is a simple and quick dish that is ideal as a side dish or main course. The fresh mushrooms are prepared with onions in a creamy sauce and refined with parsley. The preparation in the Thermomix® takes only 25 minutes and yields 4 servings. Perfect for a quick lunch or dinner.

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 500 g Mushrooms, white or brown
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 EL Oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 150 g Cream
  • 1 gestrichener EL Cornstarch
  • 100 ml Vegetable broth
  • chopped Parsley
  • 1 EL Crème fraîche

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare mushrooms

Clean 500 g of mushrooms and quarter, halve or slice depending on their size. Set aside.

Chop onion

Peel and halve 1 onion and put it in the mixing bowl. Chop for 3 sec/level 5. Push down with the spatula.

Sauté onion

Add 2 tbsp of oil to the onions in the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 min/120°C/level 1.

Add and fry mushrooms

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/Varoma/Linkslauf Speed 1 Varoma Reverse

Add the prepared mushrooms to the mixing bowl, season with salt and pepper and sauté for 5 min/Varoma/Reverse direction level 1 without a measuring cup.

Prepare sauce

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/212°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 100 Reverse

Add 150 g cream, 1 level tbsp cornstarch and 100 ml vegetable broth to the mixing bowl. Simmer for 5 min/100°C/Reverse direction level 1.

Season and serve

Season the cream mushrooms with salt and pepper. If desired, sprinkle with some chopped parsley and serve with 1 tbsp crème fraîche.
