Description

This savoy cabbage with sausage is a rustic and comforting dish, perfect for autumn evenings. The sausage, browned to perfection, blends beautifully with the sweetness of the savoy cabbage, creating an irresistible combination of flavors. Ingredients (6 ingredients)

  • 1 piece savoy cabbage
  • 600 g sausages
  • 250 g vegetable broth
  • olive oil
  • pepper
  • fine salt

Preparation (8 steps)

Initial preparation of the savoy cabbage

Divide the savoy cabbage in half, remove the hard central part and cut it into thin strips. Set aside.

Cutting the sausage

Cut the sausage into portions about 8-9 cm long. Set aside.

Browning the sausage

In a large pan, brown the sausage with a drizzle of olive oil until golden on all sides. Remove the sausage from the pan and set aside.

Initial cooking of the savoy cabbage

Pour another drizzle of olive oil into the same pan in which the sausage was cooked. Add the chopped savoy cabbage, fine salt to taste and pepper to taste.

Wilting the savoy cabbage

Mix well and cook the savoy cabbage for about 5 minutes, until the vegetable begins to wilt.

Combining the ingredients in the Mixtopf

Transfer the wilted savoy cabbage to the Thermomix bowl. Add the browned sausage and vegetable broth.

Final cooking in the Thermomix

Close the bowl with the lid and cook for 25 minutes/100°C/Stufe 1.

Serve

Check that the savoy cabbage is very soft and the liquid has reduced. Move the savoy cabbage and sausage to a serving dish and serve hot.
