Description

These crispy chickpeas with rosemary and paprika are a delicious and easy snack to prepare with the Thermomix®. Perfect for an impromptu aperitif or as an original side dish, these legumes become irresistible thanks to the sweet paprika and the scent of fresh rosemary. I often prepare them when I have guests for dinner and they always disappear in the blink of an eye! Smoked paprika adds an extra touch, but sweet paprika is also excellent. Also try them with a pinch of chili pepper for a more decisive flavor. They are naturally gluten-free and vegan, therefore suitable for everyone!

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 1 can Precooked chickpeas
  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • 1 tsp Sweet paprika
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 bunch Rosemary
  • 1 pinch Pepper

Preparation (6 steps)

Preparation of the chickpeas

Drain the precooked chickpeas in a colander to eliminate the vegetation water. Line a baking sheet with absorbent paper, pour in the chickpeas and gently dab with more absorbent paper to dry them well.

Seasoning the chickpeas

Put the dry chickpeas in a bowl. Add 2 tablespoons of flour, a pinch of salt, a pinch of pepper, 1 teaspoon of sweet paprika, 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and a few sprigs of chopped rosemary. Mix well to combine all the ingredients.

Preparation of the baking sheet

Lightly grease a baking sheet with a little extra virgin olive oil. Pour the seasoned chickpeas onto the baking sheet and arrange them so that they do not overlap to ensure even cooking.

Baking in the oven

Bake the chickpeas in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 35 minutes in the central rack in fan mode. Check the browning during cooking.

Final browning with grill

After 35 minutes, turn on the oven grill for another 5 minutes to obtain perfect browning and greater crispness. Watch carefully to avoid burning.

Cooling and serving

Remove the chickpeas from the oven and let them cool completely before serving. During cooling they will become even crispier. Serve as a snack or side dish.
