Description

The Dithmarsch cabbage pan from the Thermomix® is a hearty main course with white cabbage, cooked sausage, diced cured pork loin and pork. Refined with crème fraîche and caraway, this recipe is ideal for the cold season. Prepared in just 45 minutes, the recipe yields 4 servings. Perfect for a simple and inexpensive family meal.

  • 1 kg White cabbage
  • 2 Stück Onions
  • 200 g Cooked sausage
  • 200 g Diced cured pork loin
  • 500 g Pork
  • 200 g Crème fraîche
  • 2 EL Mustard
  • 2 TL Caraway
  • 500 ml Vegetable broth
  • 2 EL Oil
  • nach Geschmack Salt
  • nach Geschmack Pepper

Preparation (8 steps)

Chop onions

Peel and quarter the onions and place in the mixing bowl. Chop for 3 sec./speed 5.

Add oil to the onions in the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 min./120°C/speed 1.

Prepare cabbage

Clean and quarter the white cabbage, remove the stalk and cut into bite-sized pieces. Put the cabbage in the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec./speed 4.

Cook cabbage

Add vegetable broth, caraway, salt and pepper to the cabbage in the mixing bowl. Cook for 25 min./100°C/Reverse speed 1.

Fry meat

Fry the meat in a separate pan with some oil until it is cooked.

Add meat and sausage

Add the fried meat, sliced cooked sausage and diced cured pork loin to the cabbage in the mixing bowl. Heat for 5 min./100°C/Reverse speed 1.

Add crème fraîche and mustard to the mixing bowl and stir in for 2 min./90°C/Reverse speed 1.
