Description

This chicken strips dish is a real classic, quick to prepare and delicious for the whole family. The combination of tender chicken, fresh mushrooms and sweet peas in a creamy sauce is simply irresistible. I like to make it when I need something quick, but still want something tasty on the table. Rice or pasta go particularly well with it. If you like, you can also add some fresh lemon juice for a more tangy note. A great dish for everyday life!

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 400 g Chicken breast fillet
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 250 g brown Mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp Rapeseed oil
  • 1 tbsp Flour
  • 200 ml Vegetable broth
  • 200 g Cream
  • 200 g Peas - frozen
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 1 tbsp chopped Parsley

Preparation (7 steps)

Chop onion

Place 1 onion in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./level 5. Use the spatula to push down.

Add 2 tbsp rapeseed oil and sauté for 3 min./120°C/level 1.

Add mushrooms

Add 250g brown mushrooms, sliced, to the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 min./120°C/level 1.

Stir in flour

Add 1 tbsp flour and stir in for 20 sec./level 3.

Deglaze with broth and cream

Thermomix® Setting

Add 200 ml vegetable broth and 200g cream (or milk) to the mixing bowl and cook for 5 min./100°C/level 2.

3 min/212°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 100 Reverse

Add 200g frozen peas and simmer for another 3 min./100°C/reverse rotation level 1.

Season and add chicken

1 min/212°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 100 Reverse

Season with salt, pepper and 1 tbsp chopped parsley. Add 400g of fried chicken breast fillet in strips and heat for 1 min./100°C/reverse rotation level 1.
