  • 1 piece onion
  • 2 dientes garlics
  • 1 trozo green pepper
  • 200 mililitros white wine
  • 500 mililitros broth or water
  • 100 gramos flour
  • 3 patatas potatoes
  • olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper

Prepare the sauté

Peel the onion and cut into quarters. Wash the green pepper and cut into large pieces. Introduce the onion and pepper into the Thermomix bowl and shred during 3 Sec./Level 5. Lower the remains from the bowl walls with the spatula. Add olive oil and sauté during 8 Min./120°C/Level 1.

Prepare the chicken

Cut the chicken into medium pieces. Season with salt and pepper to taste. On a deep plate, place the flour and coat the pieces of chicken in the flour, making sure they are well covered.

Brown the chicken

In a separate pan, heat a little olive oil over medium-high heat. Brown the floured chicken pieces on all sides. Remove the chicken from the pan and reserve.

Add the garlic

Peel the garlic cloves and chop them finely. Add the garlic to the Thermomix bowl and sauté during 2 Min./120°C/Level 1.

Incorporate the chicken and the wine

Add the browned chicken to the Thermomix bowl. Pour in the white wine and program 5 Min./Varoma/Level 1, without the measuring cup, so that the alcohol evaporates.

Add the broth and cook

Add the broth or water to the Thermomix bowl, making sure it covers the chicken. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Program 20 Min./100°C/Level 1.

Fry the potatoes

Peel the potatoes and cut them into medium pieces. In a separate pan, heat plenty of olive oil and fry the potatoes until golden brown. Remove the potatoes from the pan and reserve.

Incorporate the potatoes and finish cooking

Add the fried potatoes to the Thermomix bowl together with the chicken. Program 10 Min./100°C/Level 1, with left turn, so that the potatoes are impregnated with the flavor of the sauce.

Taste the sauce and correct salt and pepper if necessary. Serve the chicken stew with hot potatoes.
