Description

These nougat stars, prepared in the Thermomix®, are a festive highlight of Christmas baking. The main ingredients are butter, powdered sugar, flour and of course nougat. With a preparation time of 150 minutes, about 40 delicious cookies are made. Ideal as finger food for Christmas or as a sweet dessert. Suitable for anyone who loves Christmas cookies.

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 250 g soft butter
  • 125 g powdered sugar
  • 1 Stück egg (room temperature)
  • 1 Prise salt
  • 375 g wheat flour type 405
  • 1 TL lemon juice
  • 200 g nougat
  • 100 g dark chocolate coating

Preparation (8 steps)

Prepare the dough

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/Speed 4

Put 250 g soft butter, 125 g powdered sugar, 1 egg (room temperature) and 1 pinch of salt into the mixing bowl and mix for 2 min/speed 4 until fluffy. Add 375 g wheat flour type 405 and 1 tsp lemon juice and knead for 2 min/knead setting to form a smooth dough.

Knead the dough

Use the spatula to scrape the dough from the edge and knead for another 2 min/knead setting.

Chill the dough

Shape the dough into a ball, wrap in cling film and refrigerate for 120 minutes.

Cut out and bake cookies

Roll out the dough thinly on a lightly floured work surface and cut out stars with a cookie cutter. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, leaving a little space between them, and bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C top and bottom heat for about 8 minutes. Let cool.

Melt the nougat

Put 200 g nougat in pieces into the mixing bowl and melt for 4 min/50°C/speed 2.

Fill the cookies

Spread half of the stars with the melted nougat and place the other half on top. Let dry.

Melt the chocolate coating

3 min/122°F/Speed 2 50

Put 100 g dark chocolate coating in pieces into the mixing bowl and melt for 3 min/50°C/speed 2.

Decorate the cookies

Dip the stars halfway into the melted chocolate coating and let them dry on baking paper.
