Description

This exotic poultry dish with cashew nuts is a true culinary journey! I often prepare it for a quick lunch or a friendly dinner. The fragrant basmati rice, the sweetness of exotic fruits, and the crunchiness of cashew nuts blend wonderfully with the spicy chicken. It's a complete dish, easy to make, and pleases everyone. Feel free to vary the spices according to your taste and add a little coconut milk for an even more gourmet touch. A real delight in less than 40 minutes!

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 1 piece bay leaf
  • 2 graines cardamom
  • 2 clous clove
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 240 g basmati rice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 piece large onion
  • 1 can exotic fruits
  • 1 tbsp cashew nuts
  • 1 tbsp spices (chili, paprika and/or Mexican spices)
  • 4 pièces chicken escalopes

Preparation (6 steps)

Fragrant basmati rice

Put 240 g of basmati rice, a bay leaf, two cardamom seeds, and two cloves in the cooking basket. Rinse the rice with cold water. Add 700 ml of water to the bowl and insert the cooking basket. Cook 22 Min./100°C/Stufe 4.

Preparation of onions

Peel and cut a large onion in half. Put the onions in the bowl and chop 3 Sek./Stufe 5.

Cooking the onions

Add olive oil to the chopped onions and cook 3 Min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Preparation of cashew nuts

Melt butter in a pan and grill some cashew nuts until golden. Set aside.

Cooking the chicken

10 min/212°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 100 Reverse

Cut four chicken escalopes into strips. Add the chicken strips to the onions in the bowl. Season with spices (chili, paprika and/or Mexican spices). Cook 10 Min./100°C/Linkslauf Stufe 1.

Adding the exotic fruits

5 min/212°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 100 Reverse

Cut a can of exotic fruits into small pieces. Add the cut exotic fruits and grilled cashew nuts to the chicken. Cook 5 Min./100°C/Linkslauf Stufe 1.
