Description

This simple dish with Pak Choi and Garlic is a real treat and prepared in no time! I love how the Pak Choi develops a slight sweetness through the brief frying, which harmonizes perfectly with the spicy garlic and soy sauce. It is a great, light main course or a delicious side dish to rice and meat. It tastes especially good if you sprinkle a few roasted sesame seeds over it. If you like it a little spicier, you can add a pinch of chili flakes. A quick, healthy and incredibly delicious dish that is guaranteed to please everyone!

Ingredients (4 ingredients)

  • 400 g Pak Choi
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce

Preparation (5 steps)

Prepare Pak Choi and Garlic

Wash the Pak Choi and halve lengthwise, leaving the stalk intact. Peel the garlic clove and cut into slices.

Add sesame oil to the mixing bowl

Add 1 tbsp sesame oil to the mixing bowl.

Fry Pak Choi and Garlic

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/Varoma/Speed 1 Varoma

Place the Pak Choi cut sides down in the mixing bowl and fry for 3 min./Varoma/speed 1. Add the garlic and continue to fry for another 2 min./Varoma/speed 1.

Turn Pak Choi and cook until done

Turn the Pak Choi and fry again for 3 min./Varoma/speed 1.

Season with soy sauce

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 1

Add 1 tbsp soy sauce and stir in for 10 sec./speed 1.
