Description

This recipe for garlic potatoes with almonds is a traditional Spanish dish that always triumphs.   • 4 piece Large potato
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 1 slice Loaf bread
  • 6 piece Raw almond
  • 1 packet Saffron
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt
  • Ground black pepper
  • Water

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare the potatoes

Peel the potatoes and cut them into regular bite-sized pieces. The smaller they are, the faster the cooking will be. Reserve the cut potatoes.

Chop the garlic

Insert 2 peeled garlic cloves into the Thermomix bowl and chop for 3 seconds at speed 7.

Fry the bread and almonds

Add a slice of bread and 6 raw almonds to the bowl. Fry for 5 minutes at 120°C at speed 1.

Crush the frying

30 sec/Speed 10

Add a little water to the bowl and blend for 30 seconds at speed 10 until you get a homogeneous paste.

Sauté the potatoes

Add the chopped potatoes to the bowl, stir and sauté for 2 minutes at 120°C at speed 1.

Cook the potatoes

20 min/212°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 100 Reverse

Incorporate the previous puree, 1 sachet of ground saffron, cover with water, season with salt and pepper to taste and program 20 minutes at 100°C at speed 1 with left turn.
