Description

Chicken pizzaiola is a classic of Italian cuisine, simple and tasty. This version, prepared with the help of the Thermomix®, is even easier and faster to make. The chicken breast, tender and juicy, goes perfectly with the intense flavor of the tomato puree, capers and oregano. The stringy mozzarella completes the dish, making it irresistible. Perfect for a family dinner or a quick lunch, this chicken pizzaiola is a real comfort food. It is prepared in less than half an hour and is an excellent solution for those who have little time but do not want to give up taste. A dish rich in Mediterranean flavors that will conquer everyone!

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 4 piece Chicken breast
  • 500 ml Tomato puree
  • 200 g Pizza mozzarella
  • 2 tbsp Capers
  • 5 foglia Basil
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 4 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil (EVO)
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Pepper
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano

Preparation (6 steps)

Chop garlic

One clove of garlic in the bowl and chop for 3 Sec./Stufe 7.

Sauté the garlic

Thermomix® Setting

Add the extra virgin olive oil to the bowl and sauté for 3 Min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Brown the chicken in a pan

Cut the chicken breasts in half if they are small or into 4 slices if you bought a large one, in any case you must obtain 4 slices approximately two cm thick. Take a non-stick pan and pour plenty of extra virgin olive oil into it, when it is hot, brown the slices of chicken breast, a few minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.

Add the ingredients

Add the tomato puree, dried oregano, capers, basil, salt and pepper to the bowl. Cook for 15 Min./100°C/Stufe 1.

Complete cooking the chicken

Pour the tomato sauce into a pan, add the chicken slices and cook for 5 minutes over low heat. If necessary, add a little hot water.

Add the mozzarella

Arrange the mozzarella slices on the meat, turn off the heat and cover. Wait at least 5 minutes for the cheese to melt well and then serve with the pan directly on the table.
