Description

These golden chicken bites are a tasty and quick idea for a second course that the whole family will love. The crunchy breading, obtained with flour and breadcrumbs, contains a tender and juicy chicken heart. Perfect to serve with a side of French fries or a fresh salad, these bites are ideal for an informal dinner or a quick lunch. I often prepare them when I have little time but still want something tasty and satisfying. A tip? Try adding a pinch of paprika to the breading for an extra touch!

Ingredients (6 ingredients)

  • Chicken breast
  • Eggs
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Flour
  • Seed oil for frying
  • to taste Salt

Preparation of the chicken breast

Cut the chicken breast into cubes of about 3 cm per side. Arrange the cubes in a bowl.

Preparation of the breading

In three separate bowls, arrange the flour, the eggs beaten with a pinch of salt and the breadcrumbs.

Breading the bites

Pass the chicken bites first in the flour, making sure they are well covered. Then pass them in the beaten egg and finally in the breadcrumbs, pressing lightly to make the breading adhere well.

Heating the oil

Pour abundant seed oil into a pan and heat it until it reaches a temperature of 160-170°C. It is important to use a kitchen thermometer to control the oil temperature.

Frying the bites

Fry the chicken bites in small batches in the hot oil for about 2 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Be sure not to overcrowd the pan to keep the oil temperature constant.

Draining and salting

Drain the fried chicken bites on absorbent paper to remove excess oil. Salt to taste and serve hot.
