  • 1 piece Medium onion
  • 2 piece Green peppers
  • 1 trozo Beef from stew or pot
  • 1 chorro Olive oil
  • 300 gramos Macaroni
  • 3 trozos Butter
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Pepper
  • 1 pinch Oregano
  • 1 pinch Thyme
  • 100 gramos Cheese for grating
  • 6 lonchas Semi-cured cheese
  • 400 gramos Fried tomato sauce

Prepare the vegetables

Peel the onion and cut into quarters. Wash the green peppers and cut into large pieces. Introduce the onion into the Thermomix bowl and chop 3 Sec./Speed 5. Add the peppers and chop 3 Sec./Speed 5. Remove and reserve.

Sauté the vegetables and meat

Thermomix® Setting
15 min/212°F/Gentle stir speed/Linkslauf 100 Reverse

Add the olive oil to the Thermomix bowl. Incorporate the chopped onion and peppers. Sauté for 5 Min./120°C/Speed 1. Add the cooked meat cut into small pieces, salt, pepper, oregano, thyme, and butter. Cook 15 Min./100°C/Gentle stirring level/Reverse.

Cook the pasta

Meanwhile, in a separate pot, boil water with salt. When it boils, add the macaroni and cook for 15 minutes or until al dente. Drain the macaroni in a colander.

Mix the pasta with the sauce

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/194°F/Gentle stir speed/Linkslauf 90 Reverse

Add the drained macaroni to the Thermomix bowl with the meat and vegetable sauce. Mix well for 2 Min./90°C/Gentle stirring level/Reverse so that the pasta is impregnated with the flavors.

Add the tomato and cheese

Thermomix® Setting
1 min/194°F/Gentle stir speed/Linkslauf 90 Reverse

Add the fried tomato sauce to the Thermomix bowl and mix 1 Min./90°C/Gentle stirring level/Reverse. Pour the mixture into an ovenproof dish. Sprinkle the grated cheese for gratin on top and place the slices of semi-cured cheese in the shape of a star.

Gratin

Gratin in the preheated oven at 180°C for about 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
