Description

This dish of macaroni with chicken and pepper is a real comforting treat, perfect for cool autumn or winter evenings. The ground chicken, combined with the sweetness of the tomatoes and the spicy touch of the pepper, creates a symphony of flavors in the mouth. Pink beans add a pleasant texture and a dose of protein. Ingredients (12 ingredients)

  • 500 g Lean ground meat
  • 1 clove Chopped garlic
  • 1 can Tomato(es)
  • 1 can Tomato sauce
  • 1 c Chili
  • 0.5 c. à thé Dried oregano
  • 0.5 c. à thé Ground cumin
  • 1 cup Pasta
  • 1 cup Pink beans
  • 1 cup Cheddar
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Preparation of the chicken and garlic

Cook 500 g of lean ground meat and 1 clove of chopped garlic in a large skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it up with a wooden spoon for 5 minutes or until it has lost its pink color. Set aside.

Mixing the ingredients

In the Thermomix bowl, add 1 can of tomatoes, 1 can of tomato sauce, 1 teaspoon of chili, 0.5 teaspoon of dried oregano and 0.5 teaspoon of ground cumin. Mix 5 Sec./Stufe 4.

Cooking the sauce

Add the cooked chicken and garlic to the mixture in the Thermomix. Cook 5 Min./100°C/Stufe 2.

Adding pasta and beans

Add 1 cup of pasta and 1 cup of pink beans to the Thermomix. Mix 5 Sek./Linkslauf/Stufe 2.

Final cooking

15 min/212°F/Linkslauf/Speed 1 100 Reverse

Cook 15 Min./100°C/Linkslauf/Stufe 1, stirring occasionally with the spatula, until pasta and beans are tender.

Seasoning and serving

Salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle the pasta with 1 cup of grated cheddar and serve immediately.
