Description

This dish of chicken thighs with mustard and herbs is a real delight, perfect for a simple and tasty family meal. I prepare it often, because it is quick to make and always pleases everyone. The mustard adds a slightly spicy touch that goes perfectly with the chicken, while the fresh parsley adds a note of freshness. Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 4 piece chicken thighs or chicken drumsticks
  • 2 c. à s. mustard
  • 2 clove chopped garlic
  • 20 cl poultry stock
  • 4 c. à s. olive oil
  • 2 c. à s. chopped parsley
  • to taste Salt or fine salt
  • to taste Pepper

Preparation (6 steps)

Preparation of the marinade

Thermomix® Setting

In the Thermomix bowl, add 2 tbsp of mustard, 2 chopped garlic cloves, 4 tbsp of olive oil, 1 tbsp of chopped parsley, salt and pepper. Mix well.

Marinating the chicken

Brush the 4 chicken thighs or drumsticks with the prepared mustard mixture.

Browning the chicken

Place the marinated chicken pieces in a hot pan and brown them on each side for about 5 minutes.

Cooking the stock

Pour 20 cl of poultry stock into the Thermomix bowl.

Cooking the chicken in the stock

Place the browned chicken thighs in the Varoma. Close the Varoma and place it on the Thermomix. Steam.

Serve the chicken pieces by sprinkling them with the remaining chopped parsley.
