Description

These rustic potatoes with paprika are a delicious and easy-to-prepare side dish. I have been making them for years and they always succeed, especially when I have guests. The key is in the smoked touch of the paprika and in the previous steam cooking, which leaves them tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. They are perfect for an informal dinner or as a garnish for any meat or fish dish. Also, they are vegetarian and very easy to adapt to your tastes! You can add other spices such as oregano or rosemary to give them a different touch. Go ahead and try them!

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 4 piece Medium potatoes
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Pepper
  • Salt
  • Sweet paprika
  • Parsley
  • Olive oil

Preparation (6 steps)

Initial preparation of the potatoes

Wash 4 medium potatoes well and cut them in half (without peeling).

Steaming the potatoes

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/Varoma/Speed 1 Varoma

Place the cut potatoes in the Varoma container. Pour 500 ml of water into the Thermomix glass. Place the Varoma on the Thermomix and program 5 Min./Varoma/Stufe 1.

Seasoning the potatoes

In a bowl, mix the steamed potatoes with garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, salt, sweet paprika and parsley to taste. Stir well so that the potatoes are well impregnated.

Add oil and make cuts

Add a little olive oil to the seasoned potatoes and stir. Make some superficial cuts in the potatoes (without breaking them) so that the heat penetrates better.

Prepare the air fryer tray

Preheat the air fryer to 200°C for 5 minutes. Place the potatoes on the air fryer tray, making sure they are not piled up.

Cook the potatoes in the air fryer

Program the air fryer to 200°C for 20-25 minutes, or until the potatoes are golden brown and crispy. Shake the tray halfway through cooking so that they brown evenly.
