Description
Australian date pastry is a moist cake with dates, walnuts and cinnamon, prepared in the Thermomix®. The simple recipe with butter, brown sugar and eggs is ready in just 35 minutes. It makes an ideal sweet dish or dessert for the whole family. The pastry is particularly suitable for lovers of quick cake recipes and Christmas aromas.

300 g brown sugar

2 Pck. Vanilla sugar

4 TL Cinnamon

2 Stück Eggs

1 Tasse Walnuts
-
2 Tassen Pressed, chopped dates

250 g Flour

0.5 Pck. Baking powder

1 nach Bedarf Powdered sugar
Preparation (4 steps)
Melt butter
Put 250 g of butter into the mixing bowl and melt for 3 min./50°C/level 2.
Add and stir ingredients
Add 300 g brown sugar, 2 packs vanilla sugar, 4 tsp cinnamon, 2 eggs, 1 cup walnuts, 2 cups pressed, chopped dates, 250 g flour and ½ pack baking powder to the mixing bowl and stir for 2 min./level 4.
Bake dough
Place the dough in a greased baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20 minutes.
Cut and sprinkle cake
Cut the cake into small pieces while still warm and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
