Description

This dish is a real hit when you need something quick! The pasta with spicy shrimp in garlic oil is super easy to prepare and tastes simply delicious. I love making it when I don't have much time, but still want to put something special on the table. The fresh chili and garlic give the dish a pleasant spiciness and flavor. Perfect for a cozy evening at home or as a quick lunch. If you like, you can add some freshly grated Parmesan cheese on top. An absolute favorite recipe!

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 400 g Spaghetti
  • 450 g Shrimp, raw and peeled
  • 10 tbsp Olive oil Native Extra
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 piece Chili pepper, red and fresh
  • 1 Msp Chili flakes, dried
  • 4 clove Garlic cloves
  • 20 g Parsley, smooth and fresh
  • to taste Sea salt
  • to taste black pepper

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare garlic and chili

Put 3-4 garlic cloves into the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./level 7. Wash 1 red chili pepper, remove the seeds and cut into fine cubes. Remove both from the mixing bowl and set aside.

Chop parsley

Thermomix® Setting
3 sec/Speed 5

Wash 20 g smooth parsley, shake dry, chop coarsely and place in the mixing bowl. Chop for 3 sec./level 5 and set aside.

Prepare garlic-chili-oil

Thermomix® Setting
5 sec/Speed 3

Put 7 tbsp olive oil, 1 tbsp lemon juice and 1 pinch of chili flakes into the mixing bowl. Add chopped garlic, chili and parsley. Mix for 5 sec./level 3 and transfer.

Sauté shrimp

Thermomix® Setting
4 min/248°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 120 Reverse

Put 3 tbsp olive oil into the mixing bowl and heat for 3 min./120°C/level 1. Add 450 g raw, peeled shrimp (or thawed frozen shrimp) and sauté for 4 min./120°C/Reverse rotation level 1.

Mix shrimp with garlic-chili-oil

Thermomix® Setting
1 min/212°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 100 Reverse

Add the prepared garlic-chili-oil mixture to the shrimp in the mixing bowl and heat for 1 min./100°C/Reverse rotation level 1.

Serve pasta

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Linkslauf Speed 2 Reverse

Cook 400 g spaghetti in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and add dripping wet to the shrimp in the mixing bowl. Mix for 10 sec./Reverse rotation level 2. Season with sea salt and black pepper and serve.
