Description

This seafood noodle dish is a real treat and super quick to prepare. The combination of fresh spring onions, garlic and juicy tomatoes, refined with a pinch of chili, gives the dish a pleasant spice. I especially like to make it when things have to be quick, but still something special should come to the table. The seafood provides a maritime aroma that goes perfectly with the spaghetti. A dash of olive oil and fresh parsley round off the dish. Simply delicious!

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 1 tsp Olive oil
  • 6 piece Spring onion(s)
  • 2 clove Garlic clove(s) pressed
  • 400 g Tomato(es) diced
  • 400 g Seafood frozen
  • 400 g Spaghetti
  • 1 pinch Salt and pepper, white
  • 2 tsp Parsley, chopped
  • Chili pepper(s), red fresh

Preparation (7 steps)

Cook spaghetti

Cook the spaghetti in a separate pot with salted water according to the package instructions until they are al dente. In the meantime, start preparing the sauce in the Thermomix.

Prepare spring onions

Clean the spring onions and cut into rings. If necessary, remove the seeds from a chili pepper and cut into fine rings.

Sauté spring onions and garlic

Add 1 tsp olive oil to the mixing bowl. Add the sliced spring onions, chili pepper (if used) and 2 pressed garlic cloves and sauté for 3 min./120°C/speed 1.

Simmer tomatoes

5 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Add 400 g diced tomatoes to the mixing bowl and simmer for 5 min./100°C/speed 1.

Add seafood

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/212°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 100 Reverse

Rinse 400 g of frozen seafood, drain and add to the tomatoes in the mixing bowl. Cook for 3 min./100°C/reverse rotation speed 1.

Season and taste the sauce

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 2

Season the sauce with salt and white pepper. Add 2 tsp chopped parsley and stir in for 10 sec./speed 2.

Serve

Drain the cooked spaghetti and mix with the sauce in the mixing bowl or arrange on plates and pour the sauce over it. Serve immediately.
