Description

This poultry dish with garlic cream is a simple and tasty recipe, perfect for a quick weekday meal. The sweetness of the garlic cream contrasts nicely with the poultry, creating a comforting and flavorful dish. I especially like the speed of preparation, ideal when time is short. Accompanied by peas, it's a delight! You can also vary the vegetables according to the season. A little basmati rice would also be perfect to accompany this dish. A real treat for the whole family!

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 1 piece Chicken
  • 2 piece Onion
  • 30 clove Garlic
  • 20 g Round rice
  • 1 piece Egg
  • 25 cl Milk
  • 2 piece Clove
  • 1 feuille Bay leaf
  • 5 cl Olive oil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Preparation (7 steps)

Cooking rice with milk

Thermomix® Setting
15 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Rinse 20 g of round rice. Pour 25 cl of milk into the Thermomix bowl. Add the rinsed rice, 2 peeled onions, 2 cloves and 1 bay leaf. Program 15 Min./100°C/Stufe 1.

Cooking the egg

Cook 1 soft-boiled egg for 6 minutes in a saucepan of boiling water. Shell the egg and set aside.

Blanching the garlic

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Put 30 g of garlic cloves in the Thermomix bowl and blanch 5 Min./100°C/Stufe 1.

Preparation of garlic cream

Thermomix® Setting
30 sec/Speed 8

Add the soft-boiled egg, 5 cl of olive oil and 1 tbsp of water to the Thermomix bowl with the blanched garlic. Mix 30 Sek./Stufe 8.

Preparation of rice cream

Thermomix® Setting
30 sec/Speed 10

Remove the cloves and bay leaf from the cooked rice. Mix the rice 30 Sek./Stufe 10 to obtain a smooth cream.

Mixing the creams

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 3

Add the garlic preparation to the rice cream in the Thermomix bowl. Mix 10 Sek./Stufe 3. Season with salt and pepper.

Reheating the poultry

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/140°F/Speed 1 60

Reheat the poultry in the Thermomix 5 Min./60°C/Stufe 1.
