Description

Classic Spritz biscuits for Christmas.

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 500 g Wheat flour Type 405
  • 250 g Sugar
  • 2 Prisen Salt
  • 125 g Butter
  • 125 g Margarine
  • 0.5 Pck. Baking powder
  • 2 Pck. Vanilla sugar
  • 1 Egg(s), size M
  • 1 Egg yolk, size M
  • 150 g Dark chocolate couverture

Preparation (5 steps)

Prepare dough

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/Kneading speed

Put 500 g wheat flour type 405, 250 g sugar, 2 pinches of salt (optional), 125 g butter, 125 g margarine, 0.5 pack baking powder, 2 packs vanilla sugar, 1 egg (size M) and 1 egg yolk (size M) in the mixing bowl and knead for 2 min./kneading level to form a firm dough.

Let dough rest

Remove the dough from the mixing bowl, wrap in cling film and leave to rest in the fridge for 1 hour, covered.

Shape biscuits

Turn the dough through a meat grinder with an attachment for Spritz biscuits and make any biscuits you like. Place the biscuits on a baking tray lined with baking paper.

Bake biscuits

Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C top/bottom heat on the second shelf from below for approx. 10 - 15 minutes.

Decorate

After baking, melt 150 g of dark chocolate couverture in a water bath or in the microwave and decorate the cooled biscuits as desired.
